I am now deep into my mission to learn the fret board, and pages and pages of written notes later I think I am going mad! The good news is that I think it is finally sinking in, now I have learned all 6 notes at 3, 5th, 7th and 9th fret I am feeling good! My speed is now quicker, down to 8 seconds. It is a very painful thing, I cannot remember the last time that I learned things in this way, maybe 5 years! I think a few more days of pacing and babbling to myself the notes and cross checking and I will be in a better place!
